This guide breaks down active 2026 lease incentives, how structural pricing works, qualification requirements, and key steps to maximize your total savings at the dealership.

Active 2026 Limited-Time Lease Specials

Costco rotates brand partnerships throughout the year. For 2026, major promotions feature direct factory rebates that lower the net capitalized cost (selling price) of your lease:

Manufacturer	Eligible 2026 Models	Executive Member Bonus	Gold Star / Business Bonus
Volkswagen	Atlas, Atlas Cross Sport, Tiguan	$1,250	$1,000
INFINITI	QX50, QX55, QX60, QX80	$1,250	$1,000
Chevrolet / GM	Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Silverado EV	$1,250	$1,000
Volvo	EX30, EX40, EX90, XC60 (Select Tiers)	$1,250 – $2,000	$1,000 – $1,500

Note: Promotional bonus amounts scale based on your membership tier at the time of program registration.

How Costco Lease Savings Work

Understanding the difference between the standard program and limited-time incentives is critical to negotiating your best payment:

Prearranged Program Pricing: Standard member pricing is pre-negotiated between Costco and its network of Approved Dealers. When you request a quote, the dealer presents a designated Member-Only Price Sheet displaying a set discount below MSRP.
Limited-Time Manufacturer Certificates: During seasonal promotions, carmakers fund direct factory rebates (typically $1,000 to $1,250). These certificates stack directly on top of publicly advertised manufacturer lease cash, conquest bonuses, or EV tax credit pass-throughs.
No Dealer Hassle: Participating dealers assign dedicated, trained contacts to walk members through the transparent pricing sheet without high-pressure sales tactics.

Documentation & Verification Requirements

To apply your member pricing or claim incentive certificates at the dealership, you must provide:

Costco Authorization Certificate: A digital or printed certificate obtained via CostcoAuto.com containing your unique promotion code.
Valid Costco Membership Card: The primary name on the certificate must match your government-issued ID.
Membership Cutoff Eligibility: For limited-time specials, your Costco membership must have been active prior to the promotion's specified eligibility cutoff date.
Standard Lease Approvals: Standard financial documentation required by the lender, including proof of income, driver's license, and insurance.

Factors That Affect Your Monthly Lease Payment

Factor	How It Impacts Your Overall Deal
Executive Tier Bonus	Executive members receive higher direct rebate amounts ($250 extra on average) compared to Gold Star members.
Capitalized Cost Reduction	Costco bonus certificates act as direct cash down or selling-price reductions, lowering your base monthly payment.
Money Factor & Residuals	Costco program pricing applies to the vehicle's selling price, not the bank's money factor (interest rate) or residual percentage.
Dealer Discount Stacking	Limited-time factory certificates can usually be combined with independent dealer discounts, whereas standard prearranged program prices take the place of dealer negotiation.

Key Checklist Before Signing a Lease

Confirm Certificate Stacking: Verify that the dealer applies the Costco bonus certificate after applying all eligible public factory lease cash and EV incentives.
Inspect the Money Factor: Check that the dealership uses the manufacturer's buy-rate money factor rather than marking up the interest rate.
Audit Dealer Add-ons: Ensure optional add-ons (such as paint protection or fabric care) are not added back into your contract, offsetting your member savings.
Choose Appropriate Mileage Caps: Match your annual lease allowance (10,000, 12,000, or 15,000 miles) to your actual driving habits to avoid excess mileage fees at turn-in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does leasing a car through Costco count toward the Executive 2% Reward?

No. Vehicle purchases and lease transactions through the Costco Auto Program are explicitly excluded from the annual 2% Executive Membership Reward.

Can I redeem a Limited-Time Special certificate at non-Costco dealers?

Yes. While standard prearranged pricing requires visiting a Costco Authorized Dealer, manufacturer-backed limited-time bonus certificates can typically be redeemed at any authorized franchise retailer for that brand nationwide.

Can I use the Costco incentive on demo or loaner vehicles?

For select manufacturers (such as Volvo), retired service loaner and demonstrator units qualify for member incentive certificates, provided they meet brand eligibility criteria.

Program Disclaimer

This guide is for informational purposes only. Costco Wholesale and its affiliates do not sell vehicles, set retail automotive prices, or negotiate individual dealer transactions. All actual sales and lease contracts are executed directly between the member and the participating authorized dealership. Vehicle availability, local pricing, promotional rebates, and overall lease terms vary by model, trim, region, and financing approval. Limited-time manufacturer incentives are subject to specific eligibility dates, inventory limits, and program terms set by the vehicle manufacturer. Always confirm final pricing, rebate stacking eligibility, and contract terms directly with a participating dealership prior to signing.
