Detailed Breakdown by Age Group

1. Ages 55–64: Active Explorers & Club Members

Travelers in this group often fly frequently and benefit from Frontier’s subscription and loyalty programs:

Discount Den® Membership: For $59.99/year (plus a one-time $20 enrollment fee for new members), this club unlocks Frontier's lowest fare tiers. A single member can book up to 9 people on the same itinerary at the discounted rate.
GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Pass: Active retirees or flexible travelers can purchase annual or seasonal GoWild! passes for unlimited flight bookings (paying $0.01 base fare plus government taxes/fees per segment).
FRONTIER Miles: Earn miles based on dollars spent (10x to 20x multiplier), which can be redeemed for future flights.

2. Ages 65–74: Off-Peak Savings & Bundled Options

Seniors with flexible schedules can take advantage of targeted promotional sales:

Targeted Senior Promo Codes: Frontier periodically releases promotional codes (such as 55FOR55) offering up to 55% off base fares for travelers aged 55 and older on select round-trip, mid-week flights (Mondays–Thursdays and Saturdays). These apply strictly to the base fare, excluding government taxes and carrier fees.
Bundle Packages for Peace of Mind: Frontier charges separately for carry-on bags, checked bags, and seat selection. Purchasing a bundle (like Business Bundle or Perks Bundle) combines a carry-on, checked bag, seat choice, and seat flexibility at a lower combined rate than buying add-ons individually.
Travel Days: Flying on Tuesdays or Wednesdays typically yields the lowest base fares.

3. Ages 75–80+: Mobility Support & Assistance Services

For older seniors, navigating modern airport terminals requires physical ease and clear boarding procedures:

Complimentary Wheelchair Assistance: Under DOT regulations, Frontier provides free wheelchair assistance (WCHR/WCHS/WCHC) from the curb, through security, to the boarding gate, and onto the aircraft.
Boarding Assistance: Passengers needing extra time to board or require mobility escorts can request priority boarding at the gate prior to general boarding calls.
Upfront Stretch Seating: Frontier’s Stretch Seating rows offer up to 5 extra inches of legroom at the front of the aircraft, making getting in and out of the seat easier for travelers with joint stiffness.

Crucial Tips for Senior Travelers on Frontier

Book Add-ons Early: Carry-on bags, checked luggage, and seat assignments are significantly more expensive if purchased at the airport check-in counter or gate compared to booking them online in advance.
Understand Base Fare vs. Total Cost: Senior promo codes only discount the base fare. Taxes, government fees, and mandatory carrier charges remain unchanged.
Carry ID for Verification: If traveling on an age-restricted promo code or requiring gate assistance, carry a valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license or passport).
Use Mobile or Web Check-In: Check in online 24 hours prior to departure via FlyFrontier.com or the mobile app to avoid airport agent assistance fees for printing boarding passes.
